At OT2GO Innovation to Elevation Daily Living, we empower young adults aged 17–21 in the care of the Alabama Department of Human Resources to transition from dependence to independence.
Through a network of therapeutic residential care homes, we offer a multidisciplinary approach combining occupational therapy, social work, and licensed professional counseling. Our evidence-based programs focus on building essential life skills such as financial and health literacy, professional development, emotional intelligence, and self-advocacy.
With a team of licensed professionals and proven methods like CPT, CBT, and EMDR, we create individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs and potential. From intake to post-discharge support lasting up to 24 months, our mission is to foster confidence, competence, and long-term success, ensuring brighter futures for every resident we serve.
OT2GO Innovation to Elevation Daily Living was established October 1, 2024 as a community-based Independent Living Program in Birmingham, AL. We house and treat foster youth, 17 to 21 years old, who seek to transition out of foster care into independent adulthood.
Our team of Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Assistants (OTAs), Social Workers (MSWs), and Youth Advocates serve up to 50 youth.
